We are looking for a driven, energetic and experienced Sommelier to become part of our serving team and start a beautiful new, ambitious company together. You will have an important role within the ministry, with a lot of freedom to develop yourself. As Sommelier you will build the brand new wine cellar together with Lendl Mijnhijmer. You have an eye for detail, can entertain people, can tell passionate stories and are responsible for implementing the wine policy according to the vision of the company. You are an absolute team player, but also excellent at working independently. Are you confident, ambitious and ready to perform a Showw in the restaurant every night? Then we are looking for you!


 What do we Offer?

  • 4-day work week
  • 7 weeks vacation (5 weeks fixed vacation and 2 weeks free to take)
  • A salary between €2500,- and €2700,- gross per month, depending on your experience

Restaurant Showw

Restaurant Showw led by Chef Dorus Floris and Maître-Sommelier Lendl Mijnhijmer is a brand new restaurant in Amsterdam-Zuid. A restaurant that will combine fine dining with a cozy ambiance. The restaurant has room for 50 covers, divided between the regular restaurant area, private dining and a Kitchen Table. The kitchen is modern international with a focus on High-End Comfort Food. In addition, the restaurant offers an extensive wine list with wines from around the world. The restaurant will open in mid-December.
The Chef

Chef and owner Dorus Floris has been working in the absolute top of gastronomic Holland for over 8 years. After gaining experience with the best chefs in the Netherlands, including Lucas Rive** and Jan Sobecki** and a few adventures abroad, he has been kitchen chef at Restaurant Bougainville* for the past 5 years. Dorus is a young chef with towering ambition and an extremely creative mind.
